A bare Hill Country backyard becomes a completed pool at dusk, water glass-still

Stillwater

Sixty-two pools in the Hill Country. Each one still.

AUSTIN, TEXAS

The work

Three of sixty-two.

The Ledge · A ridge lot asked for a horizon. Sixty feet of vanishing edge answered.

Night Garden · Heated to steam on winter mornings. The oaks are lit; the water is quiet.

The craft

Where the money went.

Hands setting a limestone coping stone on a thin mortar line
Coping set by hand. The mortar line is an eighth of an inch because that's what it should be.
Glass-still pool water reflecting the evening sky
We plumb for silence. If you can hear the equipment from the water, we're not done.
A vanishing edge detail at dusk
The edge is level to a sixteenth over sixty feet. Water tells on you if it isn't.

The people

Three crews. One standard.

Most of our crew has been here longer than most pool companies stay in business. The foreman walks every job at the end of every day. That's the whole quality program, and it works.

We take on twelve builds a year and we're honest about the calendar. You'll get a straight answer about timing and a real number, not a range.
